“It’s working together for your good!”

Having worked in full-time administrative positions for over 37 years, in March 2022, Shirley F. Williams retired after a 24.5 year career at Washington University and after holding Administrator and CME Director positions. Prior to her Washington University employment, Shirley worked at Citicorp Mortgage for 10 years ending her finance career as a Senior Auditor. Against all odds, having been abused, and neglected at a young age, Shirley is grateful to continue to give back to her community by supporting and encouraging teenagers to keep going no matter how bad the situation looks. Shirley believes all things work together for the good for those who love the Lord, including doors being shut in your face, people leaving you out, health issues and finance challenges.

“It’s all working together for your good!” Shirley has served as a volunteer in her community for many years. She looks forward to dedicating more time as an advocate for foster to adopted children, a domestic violence/sexual assault response team leader, a committee leader and a board member for local Missouri corporations. Shirley is known for her hard work, attention to details, and genuine care and concern for others. Shirley also enjoys reading, writing, and traveling. She looks forward to writing more devotionals and traveling with her husband of 32 years, Ronald D. Williams, Sr., a retired US Postal Service employee. Together they have four children, grandchildren, and a grand dog. Family, health, and happiness is now at the forefront of her agenda.
