Domestic Violence and The Miraculous Journey of

 "Ms. Larissa Camp"

Trees

Ms. Larissa Camp was raised in Hannibal, Missouri, by her parents, Larry and Nelreece Camp. She has one older sister and two younger brothers. Growing up in church, she attended services several days a week, but by age fifteen, she sought excitement outside of her safe world. After graduating at seventeen, she left home, and alcohol, drugs, and promiscuity soon became destructive forces in her life.

Calling on Jesus became her only hope when she faced life-threatening danger. Early relationships with older men, first jobs as a telemarketer, and later as an exotic dancer led her into a lifestyle that almost destroyed her. With God’s grace, Larissa left that life behind and closed that chapter forever.

At twenty-three, a seemingly perfect relationship turned violent. After enduring abuse and harassment, the danger escalated to a life-threatening attack. Her partner shot her hand, destroying several fingers. Miraculously, she survived, and God transformed what was meant for evil into a testimony of triumph.

Rising from Pain to Purpose

Before the attack, Larissa had dreamed of being a hairstylist. Despite the injury to her hand, she discovered a miraculous ability to create extraordinary hairstyles with one hand. What could have ended her dream became her defining testimony. Larissa is doing amazing work and her clients receive an doubt blessing being in her chair. Every style she creates reflects resilience, beauty, and purpose born from pain. If you are experiencing domestic violence, Larissa’s story is a witness that you too can be delivered.
