Life is tough. Whether it's emotional issues, family issues, past wounds, or spiritual conflict, we all have seasons in our lives when we need help, healing, and restoration. As believers, we are encouraged to look to God, His Word, and those He has appointed to serve us. Christian counseling is a powerful tool that addresses the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—providing biblical wisdom, prayer, and faith-based counseling to guide us through the trials of life.

Why Christian Counseling?

Most Christians avoid counseling, assuming they can "pray it away" or solve it themselves. However, the Bible teaches that wisdom is displayed through seeking advice: "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." — Proverbs 11:14

Christian counseling is not a lack of faith; it's an act of faith. It entails believing that God will work through trained therapists who offer confidentially guided help and utilizing scripture, prayer, and faith-based interventions.

If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, marriage and family problems, addiction recovery, or self-esteem, counseling offers a safe place to heal and grow. The Benefits of Faith-Based Therapy Compassion Christian Counseling has been providing biblically grounded, Spirit-guided counseling since 1998.

Through prayer, scripture, and a faith-based recovery model, Christian counseling can assist in the following ways:  Restore self-esteem and confidence Heal past hurt and traumas.  Enhance family and marriage relationships Eliminate addiction and self-destructive habits Gain spiritual clarity and direction.

God wants you to be complete—body, soul, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

This week has been a powerful reminder of one of my divine assignments in this season: the role of a spiritual father. I’ve had the joy of sitting with several young ministers, pouring into their lives, encouraging their calling, and helping shape their future. I have two more of those meetings today.

It was very difficult to make the decision to put my father on hospice. But when it was needed it was the best decision for him. As a hospice chaplain many people may not understand the care that a hospice program can provide.

The alarm clock hasn't even sounded yet, but I'm already awake at 5:47 AM. Something deeper than caffeine pulls me from sleep. It's the Holy Ghost moving in my spirit, preparing me for another day of warfare. Joshua 1:9 cuts through the pre-dawn darkness: "Have not I commanded thee?

Let’s be honest—Easter, for many, has become just another holiday on the calendar. Bright pastel ads, last-minute retail runs, and overflowing candy aisles often drown out the deeper meaning of the season.

Some people leave a mark on your organization. Others leave a mark on your heart. Pastor Ricky D. Floyd did both. It’s hard to put into words what this man meant to me, to Kings & Priests, and to so many others who were blessed to cross his path.
