"The Power Of Collaboration "
Pastor Rhonda Pettigrew

The most effective leaders at this time are those who understand the power of collaboration. Although you have vision and strategies, you cannot overlook the fact that they are more successfully executed with teams, partnerships, networks, and even mergers. Collaboration creates a communal brain that renders a greater magnitude of success because each person’s contribution turns into collective intelligence, not to mention that it automatically increases your resources, energy, gifts, and talents.

Plurality in leadership can only be obtained with heightened emotional intelligence, and this is synonymous with Kingdom behavior. God’s work is too massive and complex to be accomplished by one person or entity. To be Kingdom-minded is to commit to growing beyond leading with low self-esteem, jealousy, offense, and territorialism.

Here is some wisdom:

1. You can have a vision that looks complete in isolation, but it could be a piece of God’s intention. Someone else holds the other components.

2. Be careful of those who continually prophesy Words of disconnection and discord. They could be prophesying with an agenda or from a place of hurt. It is dangerous to make a move prompted by someone else’s pain instead of God’s purpose.

3. Many people want to see you win more than you realize. Don’t fall for the chatter. The hater gospel has caused paranoia that is stagnating the growth of many leaders.

4. Make sure you have wise counsel and a pastor who challenges your perspectives, stretches your paradigms, and holds you accountable. Iron sharpens iron.

A Kingdom leader should not be consumed with individual success. Even God said, “Let US make man…” Rhonda Pettigrew

This week has been a powerful reminder of one of my divine assignments in this season: the role of a spiritual father. I’ve had the joy of sitting with several young ministers, pouring into their lives, encouraging their calling, and helping shape their future. I have two more of those meetings today.

It was very difficult to make the decision to put my father on hospice. But when it was needed it was the best decision for him. As a hospice chaplain many people may not understand the care that a hospice program can provide.

The alarm clock hasn't even sounded yet, but I'm already awake at 5:47 AM. Something deeper than caffeine pulls me from sleep. It's the Holy Ghost moving in my spirit, preparing me for another day of warfare. Joshua 1:9 cuts through the pre-dawn darkness: "Have not I commanded thee?

Let’s be honest—Easter, for many, has become just another holiday on the calendar. Bright pastel ads, last-minute retail runs, and overflowing candy aisles often drown out the deeper meaning of the season.

Some people leave a mark on your organization. Others leave a mark on your heart. Pastor Ricky D. Floyd did both. It’s hard to put into words what this man meant to me, to Kings & Priests, and to so many others who were blessed to cross his path.
