Thoughts
"Michael Walker"

Trees

As I reflect upon the goodness of our God, one of many thoughts comes to mind. Any idea I’ve ever had that worked for my Good didn’t come from me.

This is when the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, enlightens and guides us into all truth. He never speaks on His authority. But whatsoever He hears, He speaks to us and brings all things back to our thoughts, whatsoever our Lord has spoken to us.

Others have said a light bulb went off inside my head, or I just had a great idea, or why didn’t I think of this before?

When life's trials start to weigh us down, and we can’t seem to pick ourselves up or get ourselves out of certain situations, He tells us to encourage ourselves in the Lord.

He tells us we’re looking in the wrong direction and guides us down the right path because His thoughts, God the Holy Spirit, are the thoughts of Christ revealed.

Like every perfect gift, no one can purchase it for us because every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights.

With whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning, for He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever more.
