I have to say, the name Total Praise Fitness came directly from God. When God placed this business in my heart, I had no thoughts of becoming a personal trainer, I just loved working out. As I begin to try and come up with my own names for the business, I asked God to help me because the names I was coming up with were not really catching on. And then one day, God just place Total Praise Fitness in my spirit and that was it.

I believe my passion for fitness is coming from my desire to help people really see who God made them to be. Whether it’s physically, spiritually, emotionally, God has placed us all here for purpose and if we don’t believe who God says we are, we will never reach that purpose. I have struggled with low self-esteem throughout my life and working out has helped me begin to love me and that’s what I want from my clients. I want them to fall in love with themselves the way God already has. In a lot of cases, that means a physical, spiritual, and emotional overhaul.

I believe that some form of fitness should be a part of everyone’s life, Regardless of age or physical capabilities. I believe there is always something you can do to help you get moving. Even if it’s just sitting in a chair and lifting your legs . People say that those who are active often live longer and I am a firm believer of that. I have seen people totally transform their lives just by walking daily. So there is no limit to what you can do when you set your mind to changing yourself, at any age!!
